Transfer a call to another line

Each phone has its own 3‐digit extension number. While you are in a call, you may transfer the call from one extension to the other.

For a Blind Transfer: Press ‘Transfer’ (or ‘#’), press the Speeddial button for the inside user, (or for an External phone number, dial the number,) and Press ‘Transfer” or ‘#’ a second time, then hang up.

For a Supervised Transfer: Press ‘Transfer’, press the Speeddial button for the inside user, (or for an External phone number, dial the number,) ask the call recipient if they want to take the call. If they say: ‘yes’, then press ‘Transfer’ a second time, then hang up. If they say: ‘no’, then let the call recipient hang up first, resume the call and then advise the caller.

Note that you can transfer calls to other stores using their 3‐digit store number, or you can dial their normal 10‐digit telephone number. You can also transfer calls to any external 10‐digit telephone number using the exact same process.

Always remember to dial # after the 3‐digit extension or 10‐digit telephone number. If you do not add the # key, there will be a 10 second delay before your call is connected.

To cancel a transfer, press “cancel” to be returned to the call.

To transfer a call that was received on a forwarded external phone – press #.
